Learn Yagami Ryu Shibari Style

Unlike other shibari styles that focus on increasingly complex forms and patterns, Yagami Ren’s Sekibaku emphasizes a series of foundational techniques. These basics, when combined, allow you to create a unique, organic, and personal approach to shibari in each interaction.

Our training is divided into three areas of study: Session Management (Kyosho-gaku 急所学), Body Movement (Taijutsu 體術), and Rope Handling (Nawasuji 縄筋). Throughout the course, you will learn techniques within each of these areas.

Mastering these fundamentals will open the door to thousands of variations in your shibari practice.

Methodology and Course Structure

Our courses follow the _ (Make Shibari Accessible For Everyone) methodology, focusing on customizing teaching to each student’s individual needs.

One of the main aspects of this method is that the course follows a sequential structure, carefully building your skills step by step, with each lesson naturally progressing into the next.

The Yagami Ryu Shibari Style Course consists of 5 modules delivered across 6 intensive sessions (up to 8 hours per session) ensuring you make the most of your time.

We suggest leaving a couple of months between sesions to allow for home practice, helping you become comfortable with what you've learned and consolidate the knowledge acquired.

This practice isn’t about following rigid routines. Instead, it’s about mastering the basics and incorporating them into your own erotic dynamic, which you can start doing safely from day one.

Enrolment Options

Classes are taught intensively, with each session lasting between 6 and 8 hours, making up approximately 50 hours across 6 classes.

For those traveling from abroad, it’s possible to schedule two classes on consecutive days.

Note: Due to the physical demands of this course, we recommend limiting classes to two consecutive days. This approach allows you to fully benefit from the training without becoming overwhelmed.

This setup allows you to fit the course into your life while receiving solid training in the Yagami Ryu Style.

  • Your teaching style was so thoughtful and thorough, and it really made a difference for me. I loved how you focused not just on the knots and techniques, but also on the energy and mindset the person being tied brings into the whole experience. It was something I hadn’t fully considered before, and it completely shifted how I look at Shibari.
  • The way you emphasized trust and communication, and how connected it can make people feel, really opened my eyes. Your class made me curious to explore more!
  • Thanks again for creating such a welcoming and fun space to learn. I’m so grateful for everything you shared!
  • I've been working loads on the arm position for the Gote, and my models are really impressed with how different it feels! That first class was a real game changer—thank you so much!
