In the traditional Japanese calendar, 鴻雁来 (Kogan kitaru) marks the return of the wild geese and signals the arrival of autumn. The image captures nature’s transience—the shift from one season to the next and the passage between different states.
Building on this idea, this edition of Shibari Salón will explore transitions as a technical element within sekibaku (責縛): how to move from one configuration to another while maintaining continuity throughout the process, and how to use movement to make it happen.
As a style, sekibaku is rooted in an erotic intention in which both the person tying and the person being tied participate actively: bodily activation and the engagement of both partners are part of the technique and the experience.
Addressing an erotic theme doesn’t turn the activity into a party, a show, or a pornographic experience: it’s a learning context, where knowledge is shared and practiced in a group setting with care, respect, and an educational perspective.
Spots are limited: part of the capacity is reserved for people enrolled in the intensive workshops taking place that weekend, so only a few spots remain for independent registration. For this reason, advance booking is required.
