Nawakai is a regular gathering for the dojo’s student community. It’s not a course or a class: it’s a meeting space where the social and human dimension takes center stage.
Nawakai is a regular gathering for the dojo’s student community. It’s not a course or a class: it’s a meeting space where the social and human dimension takes center stage.
From October 22 to 25, 2026, we’ll hold a new edition of Nawakai, our regular gathering for dojo students, both in-person and online.
During this edition, we’ll also take the opportunity to present the updated training program and the workshops planned for the coming year, as well as to award diplomas to students who have successfully completed the 2024–2026 course.
The event will run in both Spanish and English so that all students can participate regardless of their usual language.
The social component is an essential part of Nawakai. It’s not just about sharing technical knowledge—it’s about spending time and practicing alongside others who belong to the same community.
Practicing together gives you the chance to observe different approaches, ask questions, compare experiences, and learn from one another. At the same time, the gathering offers a space to strengthen the bonds that form around a shared practice and to keep growing—both technically and personally.
Nawakai isn’t designed as an intensive training or a conventional course.
While there will be dedicated spaces for practice and technical updates, the main goal is to come together, work side by side, and enjoy practicing as a group.
That’s why the pace of the gathering will be largely set by the group itself. There won’t be a fixed agenda or a mandatory program, although we’ll have various practices, topics, and proposals ready for each day.
Each day is a standalone activity, so you can join for one day or several, depending on your availability.
