An Immersive Intensive in Northern Spain. Designed for Couples Who Travel to Learn.

Gijón Shibari Dojo

Private, English‑language bespoke training. All‑inclusive days, personalized 1:1 sessions, and full support to plan your journey

Why Travel to a Dojo in Asturias?

You could learn shibari anywhere. But if you’re looking for a method that puts your erotic experience at the center—not just knots—then the way you learn matters as much as where.

Our dojo is a private, distraction‑free space, designed for couples who want to go beyond figures and truly integrate technique into their shared desire.

Teaching Adapted to You, Not to a Template

Each session is 1:1—one couple and instructors. No group dynamics. The entire class is built around your bodies, your pace, and your erotic dynamic. You don’t learn to replicate generic figures; you learn to apply technique to your own experience, from the very first session.

A Methodology That Works on Both Roles

In shibari, the dialogue between the one who ties and the one who is tied is everything. Our #MSAFE method gives specific attention to both, so you build trust, communication, and technique as a couple. You progress together, not separately.

Technique in Service of Erotic Desire

We teach shibari as a tool for pleasure and connection, not as a set of milestones. There’s no “finish line” other than the satisfaction of your own desire. Every technique is presented so you can immediately apply it to your intimate life—making your learning time efficient and deeply personal.

An Environment That Helps You Focus on What Matters

Far from the city, surrounded by nature, the dojo offers the calm you need to immerse yourselves fully. With full‑day formats, meals included, and support to organize your trip, you can dedicate your energy entirely to learning—and to each other.

This is shibari taught for your relationship, not for a syllabus.

Programs – Your Intensive Options

Define Your Journey. We’ll Take Care of the Rest.

All our international programs are taught in English and tailored to your pace and erotic dynamic.

We include everything you need to learn effectively—materials, meals on full‑day formats, and support to organize your travel and accommodation.

You can choose between a 1‑day immersion, a 2‑day program, or a half‑day class. Whichever format you choose, the session is entirely private—just one couple and instructors.

If you prefer to travel without ropes, no problem. We can provide the necessary ropes at the dojo, or you can purchase them here at a favorable price if you wish.

All intensives follow the #MSAFE method, with a curriculum adapted to your experience level and interests. You learn techniques that serve your desire—not abstract figures.

The content is built around your bodies, your pace, and your erotic dynamic, not a fixed syllabus.

A Typical Full‑Day Intensive

We structure the day to balance learning, rest, and integration—always adapting to your rhythm. A full‑day format includes:

  • A relaxed lunch break with a meal included—time to rest, reflect, and recharge.
  • Flexible pacing: we adjust the timing to suit your energy and preferences. Half‑day formats follow the same philosophy, condensed into a morning or afternoon session.

Language

All international intensives are taught in English by our bilingual instructors. No language barriers—just learning.

Make Shibari Accessible For Everyone

The #MSAFE method places your safety, your desire, and your dynamic at the center—so shibari serves your relationship, not a rigid syllabus.

We teach you to understand the body, communicate as a couple, and use technique in service of erotic desire, adapting everything to your level, bodies, and pace.

This is shibari as an ethical, responsible practice, built for real couples who want to explore together.
