# Safe Shibari Course

![Safe Shibari Course](https://escueladeshibari.es/images/2025/ws_breve-edstwcard.webp)

We often get questions about the safety of the person being tied.

That’s why we’ve created this course, where we’ll explore **how to recognize a unsafe tie, understand associated risks, assess the skills of the person tying, and, most importantly, prioritize your safety, well-being, and satisfaction above egos or external dynamics**.

## Course Content

The course focuses on **shibari safety and active participation from the perspective of the person being tied**, covering three key areas:

---

### Basic Anatomical Knowledge

Learn fundamental concepts about the human body to **understand how your body works, identify potential risks of injury** during ties, and take steps to avoid them.

---

### Rope Techniques

Move from being a **passive participant** to an **active collaborator** in shibari.

Engage with rope management and learn to recognize potential flaws or issues in tying techniques—as well as their associated risks.

---

### Session Management

Explore the **emotional and cognitive aspects** of a shibari session to gain a deeper understanding of what’s happening for everyone involved.

The goal is to ensure that each interaction is an **enriching, safe, and fulfilling experience for both parties**.

## Available Formats

The international version of the course is **taught in English** and is available exclusively as a private, one-on-one lesson.

- **Availability:** Any day (weekdays, weekends, or holidays), subject to prior booking
